Onion Soup (10 servings or more)

1 large onion, chopped
1 stick butter
6 cans Consommé soup
6 cans water
Dash of Worchestershire sauce

Coutons - French bread
Slice, butter and top with Parmesan cheese

Sauté onion in melted butter adding 2 T. flour until onions are translucent...10 - 15 mins. Add consummé, water and Worshestershire sauce. Cook for several hours. Best if prepared at least the day before.

Serve with crouton on top, sherry and cheese of choice.

Stored in refrigerator it will last several weeks.
